Small yoga or meditation classes in a cosy, ambient space
Yoga from the Inside classes are held in the beautiful Toxana building in Richmond. This historically significant homestead dates from the mid-nineteenth century and, sympathetically restored, retains its Georgian spaciousness and ornate Victorian detail.
The ground floor now houses the Toxana Business Centre. Yoga from the Inside is in Room 8. Come and enjoy yoga or meditation in the quiet, stately ambience of this lovely historic place.
Morning Mindfulness Meditation
The idea of these sits is to provide an opportunity for people to come together and practice meditation in community. If you have an existing practice or a technique that you’ve learned elsewhere, please bring that along. If you’re new to meditation you might like to just try it out and enjoy the ambience. But, if you find sitting in silence a little challenging at this stage, you may like to come along to a ‘Learn to Meditate’ course first. There is no charge for the Morning, Mindfulness Meditation sits.

Yoga for Osteoporosis

An ‘easeful’ class focusing on synchronising gentle body movement with slow breath. These accessible, non achievement-focused classes work all areas of the body to leave you feeling calm, relaxed and vital.

Early Morning Yoga
Restorative yoga uses props to support comfort and ease in the body with the objective of experiencing the power of letting go in both body and mind. It is a meditative yoga practice that brings deep peace and calm and a deeper body awareness. The parasympathetic nervous system is activated to effectively release anxiety, promote digestion, relieve headaches and enhance your well being.
