Live your full, bright Self!

We take a stand for mental health

One in 5 Australians experience a mental health condition in a given year and almost one in 2 will experience a mental health condition at some point in their lifetime (ABS 2008)

  • Perhaps you struggle with anxiety, stress, insomnia or depression.
  • Or you have a formal diagnosis: schizophrenia, bi-polar, PTSD.
  • Perhaps you have mood swings which affect the people around you, cause you to engage in behaviour you later regret, or hinder your ability to keep close relationships or prosper at work.
  • Similarly, you may live with addiction in its various guises or struggle with body image.

Yoga from the Inside offers you the tools of yoga and meditation to support a greater sense of well-being and ease.

We refuse shame and stigma

We refuse the shame and stigma of these experiences and instead honour them as valid life experiences to inform our journey to wholeness.

Everyone matters!

For this reason, we offer inclusive classes in our beautiful studio in Richmond.  In addition, we host interesting and engaging presentations, workshops and events that are aligned with our values. We also take yoga and meditation into prisons, mental health hospitals and community organisations, wherever there is a need.

We’re all in this together

You are part of something bigger than yourself. Within you, you have all you need to feel better, fuller – the fullest expression of who you are.  Even if life is overwhelming, scary, challenging and downright hard, you are strong and brave enough to respond to life’s toughest experiences.  Life ultimately supports you. Above all, you can trust your experiences as opportunities for growth and transformation.

Our need to belong is of the utmost importance. We need each other.  To support this, we offer a safe space to connect with others and yourself.  We are all in this together and together we will thrive!

“I’ve learned that we are all the same but different at the same time. We feel many of the same things and certainly do not have to go through tough times alone.”
